Privacy Policy

Interview Intel is a personal portfolio project built by one developer — not a company. It's provided free and as-is. This page explains, in plain English, what the app collects and what happens to it. It isn't formal legal advice.
What I collect
- Your account email — so you can sign in, verify your account, and receive account emails.
- The message text you submit — the interview emails you paste in for analysis, plus any notes you add.
- Basic technical logs — standard server logs (used to keep the app running and debug issues).
Why I collect it
- To create your account and sign you in.
- To generate the interview analysis — reading the email text you submit and returning the category, urgency, extracted details, prep guidance, and tasks.
- To send necessary account emails, like verification and password resets.
AI processing
To produce the analysis, the message text you submit is sent to a third-party AI provider — Anthropic (the Claude API) — which processes it and returns the result. Your email address is not sent to Anthropic; only the message content needed for the analysis is. Anthropic handles that data under its own terms and privacy policy.
Who else sees your data
Account emails (verification, password reset) are delivered through an email provider (Resend), which receives your email address to send them. Apart from the AI and email providers above, your data isn't shared with anyone. I don't sell your data.
Deleting your data
You can delete your account yourself at any time. Go to your Account page and choose Delete my account. This permanently removes your account and everything tied to it — your submitted messages and their analysis, tasks, applications, and notifications.
